Completing the Essential Terms and Concepts (ETCs) assignment:
Choose 10 items from Unit 1 and 10 items from Unit 2 that you feel you need to review. Identify each and explain their significance in American History. Typically, for identification, ask yourself the "who was involved, what happened, where did it take place, etc.", and for significance, ask yourself "why is this important for the course, what is the outcome, what does it lead to, etc." - be deliberate in your choice of terms, some you might feel more comfortable skipping and other might pop out at you that need reviewing.
Must be handwritten! It is HIGHLY recommended that you print the ETC sheet along with your 10 items. The images are extremely helpful and make for a great cover that will be useful for the Final Exam Review.
Please underline or highlight the significance of each term so that it is clear when grading what you think is the importance of each term. If you fail to indicate significance, the assignment will be returned to you to be completed according to instructions.
Must be handwritten and submitted at the beginning of class on the day of the unit test.

With your group, each of you are to read your assigned Pre-Columbian tribal region and answer the questions below. Your job is to exchange information so your group knows about your tribes and the other two groups know about yours. After you have collaborated with each other and formed a cohesive set of answers to the questions, decide on how you will synthesize the information (ex: chart, venn diagram, etc.) with the information from each of your question sets.
I will be grading your final product as a group, however, make sure each of you has a copy printed out. Once I get all three and have looked over them for accuracy, I will post them as a resource to serve the entire class.
