Period 5: 1844 - 1877 Preserving a Nation (Ch. 18-22)

Using the Essential Terms and Concepts sheet:

Complete the 10 items from Period 5 that you feel you need to review.  Identify each and explain their significance in American History.  Typically, for identification, ask yourself the "who was involved, what happened, where did it take place, etc." and for the significance, ask yourself "why is this important for the course, what is the outcome, what does it lead to, etc." - choose terms that you truly need to review again, not ones you already know.
